Singapore, 12 September 2002 - Green Dot Internet Services (GDIS) Pte Ltd, developer and operator of MIW, the NSmen's Portal (miw.com.sg) today introduces MIW PATRIOT eBonus - a unique and innovative reward program using mobile technologies that eliminates the need for carrying physical discount cards.

MIW PATRIOT eBonus is specially developed for the more than 350,000 strong NSmen community. MIW members, who are NSmen, can enjoy exclusive offers and discounts for a wide range of products and services at selected stores. All they need is a handphone or a handheld personal digital assistant (PDA). They need no longer clutter their wallets with multiple privilege cards.

Three simple steps are all that the NSman need to go through to enjoy the benefits of this reward program:
- Log on to MIW at miw.com.sg
- Download the PATRIOT icon to his mobile phone or PDA
- Flash the PATRIOT icon at the participating outlets for the desired promotion

The first 100,000 downloads is FREE for NSmen. There will also be attractive monthly draws and exclusive deals during this promotional period. The first phase of Patriot eBonus will culminate in a grand lucky draw in early 2003, for which the first prize is the latest Harley-Davidson Sportster XL 883R. So the earlier the NSmen downloads the Patriot icon, the more chances he has of winning.

The present participating merchants, who will bear the PATRIOT decals and wobblers, are selected based on the relevance of their offerings to this NSmen population. Products and services offered range from mobile communication devices, digital peripherals, scuba-diving gear to food. More merchants will continue to be sourced to participate in the program. GDIS hopes to attract up to 25,000 downloads within the next 3 months.

For the coming months, plans are underway to enable NSmen who are using GPRS or WAP-enabled phones, to search for information on participating merchants and the latest promotions anywhere, anytime. The e-Bonus program plans to offer a location-based mobile search directory that will automatically alert the user via his handphone if he is near the location of any participating merchant. PDA users will also soon be able to automatically 'hot sync' to information about participating merchants and search for promotions according to proximity and product category. Location maps may even be provided to help users get to the participating vendors.
